LPG gas alarm system detects the presence of petroleum gas to permissible limits. When LPG concentration goes beyond limit to cause breathing trouble or even explosive limit. Under such circumstances, the LPG alarm detects the presence of the gas and blows the alarm.

Working principle:
The heart of the circuit is a LPG gas sensing sensor unit consisting of Tin-Oxide SnO2. The electrodes are gold (Au) with a tubular ceramic coating of Aluminum Oxide Al2O3 rim. The sensor resin base is ok Bakelite. The conductivity of the electrodes varies with LPG / heavy smoke / gaseous particulate matter, which is then electronically detected by the current flowing through them. The presence of either smoke / gas / LPG / Butane / Methane can blow alarm
